Ulrike, born 1978 in Berlin, lives in a village in the Parc naturel régional du Haut- Languedoc, Southern France.

It is the making and the learning process itself which give pleasure, the absorption and concentration which bring joy. For the last five years I follow this pull towards forms and figures, lines and colours. It is an ever changing process of getting to know the material, experimenting with paper and paper pulp, refining the craft, learning to see anew and opening my eyes to surprise findings.
I am similarly passionate about working creatively with children, about bodywork and meditation, about traveling, nature and ecology.”
